My opinion of the VMAs

Besides Britney's horrible performance, the show completely sucked. Britney wasn't the only one that lip-synced last night. Chris Brown put on the fakest performance, and then thought he was going to pull off a Michael Jackson skit. Im sorry but NO! Rihanna was the best of the night. She always keeps it real and no matter how bad it is, she always puts on an amazing show. Fall Out Boy was ok, but they didn't have the best vocals in the world. Justin Timberlake won 4 awards, and in one of his "drunken stupor" speeches, he made a nasty and obnoxious comment to Lauren, Audrina, and Whitney of The Hills. "Let's bring back music to music television!" He isn't 100% wrong but you don't really say that to 3 reality TV stars. But in a way, he is right. What ever happened to Music Television? It shouldn't be MTV, it should be RTV. The only show that has music is TRL. I liked Linkin Park a lot last night, but Timbaland ruined the whole performance. The Palms is definitely NOT the place to have an award ceremony. people couldn't even move in the room!!! When Beyonce went to go accept her award for best earth-shattering collaboration, people had to actually get up, push in the chairs, and then move out of the way just so she could get through. I didn't like that there were different performances in different rooms. It's an award ceremony, not the after party! If you knew there was going to be not enough room in the place, why couldn't you move the show to LA or Hollywood or NYC? Kanye West's performance was fun and good, but not great. T-pain just ruined the performance. I give a lot of credit to the foo fighters though. They were one of the best performances. And how can I talk about the 2007 VMAs without talking about Tommy lee and Kid rock!!!!????. Tommy Lee is the most immature person in the world. When Pamela Anderson went to present an award, who do you think was whistling non-stop in the backround. PAMELA ACTUALLY HAD TO YELL AT HIM ON LIVE TELEVISION TO STOP!!! Exuse my language, but he is such an @$$. Then Kid and Tommy go at it during the commercial brake and they both have to be escorted out of the hotel. IMMATURE PEOPLE! YOU CAN'T EVEN HANDLE BEING NEXT TO EACH OTHER? WHY DON'T YOU BOTH GO ON STAGE AND MAKE FUN OF PAMELA OR TALK ABOUT SOMETHING FUNNY? Anyway, on a scale of 1-100, i give the VMAs a 30.
